Its a Miracle!!!

I just got wonderful news from Gem and I just had to share!!! 3 weeks ago Gem and Sam were told that Natalie's kidneys had failed and because there was no hope of recovery there was nothing more they could do for their beautiful little girl. They moved into Bear Cottage a palliative and respite care hospice for children and were told that little Natalie would survive no more then a week, well she proved them wrong!!!

Gem called this morning to say that Natalie's kidney's have recovered and she is doing well, so well that they've gone home!! They spent their first night at home in over 6 months last night!! Natalie is sleeping and eating well and is babbling away and giving lots and lots of smiles!!

So moving forward they are now focusing on treating the disease, LCH, again and taking things one step at a time and seeing how things go. The Dr's have said that there is a SLIGHT possibility that she may be going into remission.

Gem and Sam are just thrilled and are very grateful for all the prayers and thoughts and ask for more prayers for Natalie as despite the good news she still has a way to go yet.
